Prayer is a form of worship and a direct communication to God- our Lord and Savior. The purpose of prayer in the life of a Christian is to have an intimate relationship with him.
Treasure prayer! No enemy that is seen or unseen can take away your connection with God through prayer. God already knows your requests, but he seeks you to come to him in prayer and petition trusting your prayers are being heard.
Give gratitude for what Jesus has done for us at the cross. Prayers of Thankfulness that God first pursued us. Trust him to meet your every need!
At any moment of any hour you can call upon the Lord and ask him to be with you, to keep you safe, comfort you when lonely.
Repent and confess your sins to God, ask him for forgiveness and restoration. Pray for redemption and transformation, seek his will in your ways, joy in all circumstances; that through him your cup will be filled.
Pray for the sick, the poor and the weak, pray for the unborn and the unbeleiver, pray for your enimies and pray for wisdom.
Sometimes it can be difficult to pray.
We would love to pray for you...
Prayer can be difficult if we allow circumstances to weigh us down. When this happens we need immediate support and encouragement from our brothers and sister in Christ. You have brothers and sisters in Christ at Redemption Hills Church and are on the prayer team. They will support you or the individual or family with prayer for encouragement and or service in love of Jesus Christ.
We would love to pray for you.
Come meet with us! The first Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm we gather in the sanctuary for an evening of prayer and worship.
The Lord's Prayer,
Pray then like this:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who have trespassed against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
for thine is the kingdom, the power, the glory- forever and ever, Amen.
~ give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver
Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something
